Quiet Trails & Stunning Views
Manning Park Alpine is a charming and family-friendly ski resort located in southern British Columbia, known for its laid-back atmosphere and affordable pricing. With a mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs. The resort also features stunning views, shorter lift lines, and a welcoming vibe, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed mountain getaway. Its proximity to Vancouver and its accessibility add to its appeal, offering a peaceful alternative to busier resorts.

Manning Park is a very quiet and remote resort, offering a more isolated experience compared to other ski destinations. The nearest town is about an hour away, and getting there via Highway 3 can be challenging during winter. The road often becomes icy, and large transport trucks frequently travel this route—if you’ve ever watched the TV docuseries “Highway Thru Hell,” you’ll understand why it’s not a drive to take lightly unless absolutely necessary.

The mountain itself is small, but there are fun lines to discover. Take the Bear Chair, head right, and hike uphill for about 10 minutes to find your own line through the trees. This is my favorite spot on the mountain, offering a unique and rewarding experience for those willing to explore.

Manning Park has EV charging stations, so you won’t need to worry about running out of power. You’ll be covered for the journey in and out!
